Annette Minihan is an executive career coach, speaker and founder of Careers Unpacked, helping senior professionals and leadership teams navigate change, raise visibility, and future-proof their careers.
With 25+ years in global business, Annette has sat on every side of the hiring table. Before launching Careers Unpacked, she led the Sloan Masters careers programme at London Business School, supporting executives from NASA scientists to not-for-profit CEOs. Her work there lifted career outcomes by over 25%.
Earlier, she spent two decades in global Talent Acquisition, leading executive hiring and team builds at Merrill Lynch, Tesco, Standard Bank, Société Générale, and Deloitte - delivering 2,000+ specialist hires and building high-performing teams across six continents.
Born in Ireland and now based in London, Annette has worked in 35+ countries, partnering with clients across financial services, retail, energy, healthcare, and non-profit sectors.
Her evidence-based methodology combines research with real-world insight, helping leaders overcome career barriers, take back control, and design careers that fit the lives they want.
A regular speaker and facilitator, Annette shares practical insights on career transition, leadership identity, and authentic growth. Her favourite moments? Hearing clients’ success stories, whether a long-overdue promotion, bold career pivot, or newfound confidence.
Outside work, you’ll find her swimming in open water, at a live gig, or sharing good food and conversation with friends.
