Annette is an experienced executive career coach with over 25 years’ experience in global businesses. Prior to founding Careers Unpacked, she lead the careers programme at London Business School (LBS) for the Sloan Masters cohort. At LBS, Annette created and delivered an an interactive careers programme for a diverse cohorts of international executives that included NASA Scientists, Accountants, Engineers, Investment Bankers to not-for-profit CEOs. Annette leadership elevated the LBS Sloan career outcomes by +27%.
Annette’s early career was in global Talent Acquisition, where she delivered 2000+ specialist executive hires and oversaw the building out of entire functions globally at Merrill Lynch, Tesco, Standard Bank, Société Générale and Deloitte.
Born in Ireland, Annette lives and works from the UK (London). Her roles as executive coach and leading talent acquisition teams has given her experience working across 6 continents, delivering work in the UK, across Europe, Greater China, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle Eastern countries (35+ countries). Her clients come from sectors as diverse as financial services, retail, telecoms, consumer goods, manufacturing, energy, healthcare and non-for-profit.
Annette’s research has identified the most significant barriers to career progression and this, combined with her significant corporate experience, has informed the development of the methodology underpinning Career Unpacked’s evidence-based solutions.
Annette regularly speaks at events, conferences and on panels, sharing insights on career transition. Her favourite moments on a client engagement is hearing the client’s success stories – whether that be a shift in the system at an organisational level or seeing a coaching participant achieve their desired (and deserved) promotion or transition.
Annette’s out-of-work interests include, live music gigs, open water swimming and sharing dinner with friends.
